The Research, Metrics and Evaluation Study

Global Language Project consistently evaluates the effectiveness and success of our programs to ensure participants receive the best language education possible. We have partnered with New York University to implement research and assessment of the After-school Language Program and the Neighborhood Language Partnership, evaluating the key areas of language acquisition, including:

  • Comprehension
  • Communication abilities
  • Writing
  • Success of participants against district, state and national language-learning standards

In addition to measuring language acquisition, we will also measure and track the changes in the students' self concept and cross-cultural competencies. As the Study develops results and statistics of the Program, the organization will communicate its findings to educators, the media and policymakers with the goal of becoming a leader in language-learning curriculum development, and an advocate for language-education issues.
