FAQs

Can I register my child directly for Global Language Project?

Students can only apply for a Global Language Project program if their school is a Partner School.

How can my child's school be considered for Global Language Project?

Public schools must first apply to become a Partner School of Global Language Project. If you have a school that you would like to recommend for consideration, please send an email to us at info@globallanguageproject.org.

How do you select the languages taught?

We select languages based on global prominence (i.e. Spanish), along with others designated as Super Critical Needs Languages by the US Department of State, such as Arabic (Modern Standard, Egyptian, and Iraqi), Chinese (Mandarin), Dari, Farsi, Hindi, and Urdu.

How do I volunteer with Global Language Project?

Our network of volunteers has been critical to the success of Global Language Project, and our needs are constantly changing and evolving. The best way to keep abreast of new volunteer opportunities is to sign up for our email newsletter. We don't spam, nor do we sell your information to outside parties. We simply like to keep you up to date on everything that is going on, and occasionally email invitations to Global Language Project events in your area. Click here to sign up for our newsletter.
